Solid fuel Flexible Flue Liners are manufactured from a strip of 316l or 904l grade stainless steel, wrapped over itself continually to form a spiral consisting of two skins. The flexibility and durability of the liner comes from the seams which occur at the point where two layers of steel overlap and are pinched and pressed to hold them together. ‘316’ and ‘904’ refer to the grade of stainless steel used to construct the Liner with 316 being suitable for all solid fuel burning – typically wood and coal.
